About

Our Story

Africa is at a crucial point in its digital transformation, offering significant growth and innovation opportunities. However, this shift also brings cybersecurity challenges that could hinder progress.

The World Economic Forum’s 2024 report highlights the uneven growth in cybersecurity, creating a gap between resilient organizations and those struggling due to factors like threat dynamics, economic trends, and early technology adoption. Access to cybersecurity expertise has become costly, affecting global safety efforts.

Secure Africa AI addresses these challenges by leading Africa’s digital defense. We unite academia, government, and the private sector to build robust cybersecurity infrastructure and knowledge. We train skilled professionals, promote cross-sector collaboration, raise awareness, and develop effective policies and regulations. The Centre ensures Africa’s digital transformation is secure, inclusive, and sustainable by fostering a space for learning about cyber threats and coordinating initiatives across states, regions, and stakeholders..
